pdfclassnotes is a study-notes website that publishes free notes for students following the Punjab Boards (BISE) curriculum and the Federal Board (FBISE) curriculum, across subjects and classes. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We keep data collection to what is reasonably needed to run the site:

• Usage data — pages visited, subject/notes downloaded, device and browser type, approximate location (city/country level), and referring pages, collected automatically through standard web analytics.
• Cookies — small files used to remember preferences (like dark mode or last-visited subject) and to measure site traffic.
• Contact form data — if you use the Contact Us page or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the message you send.
• Advertising data — if the site displays ads (e.g. through Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies or device identifiers to show relevant ads, as described in their own privacy policy.

We do not require account creation or login to read or download notes, and we do not collect passwords or payment information.

• To operate, maintain, and improve the notes and site navigation
• To understand which subjects/classes are most used, so we can add or update notes accordingly

• To detect and prevent spam, abuse, or technical problems

We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics (to understand traffic) and Google AdSense (to display ads), and file hosts such as Google Drive to serve PDF notes. These providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies. You can disable cookies from your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the third-party analytics, advertising, and hosting providers named above, to the extent needed for them to provide their service, or where required by law.

6. Notes for students & parents

Many of our visitors are school and college students, including minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond standard, non-identifying usage data described above. Students should avoid sharing personal details (full name, phone number, home address) in the contact form beyond what’s needed to reply to a query. Parents or guardians who believe a child has shared personal information with us can contact us to have it removed.

7. Data security

We take reasonable technical steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. We ask that you don’t send sensitive personal information (like CNIC numbers or financial details) through the contact form.

8. Your choices

• Clear or block cookies from your browser settings
• Opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), where applicable
• Contact us to ask what data we hold about a message you sent, or to request deletion

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last reviewed” date at the top of this page. We encourage checking back occasionally.
